Enable Cookies

  1. Open Google Chrome and select the menu icon at the top right of the page.
    From the expanded list select Settings.



  2. Near the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings.




  3. In the Privacy section, click Content settings



  4. Under Cookies, make sure that Allow local data to be set and
    Block third-party cookies and site data are selected.

    Then click on Manage exceptions under the Cookies section.



  5. Enter [*.}mckendree.edu in the box and leave the dropdown selected to Allow and then click on Done.

  6. Click Done to save.

Enable Pop-ups

  1. Open Google Chrome and select the menu icon at the top right of the page.
    From the expanded list select Settings.



  2. Near the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings.



  3. In the Privacy section, click Content settings



  4. In the Popup section, make sure that Do not allow any site to show pop-ups is selected.
    Then click on Manage exceptions.



  5. Enter [*.}mckendree.edu in the box and leave the dropdown selected to Allow.

  6. Click Done.

Manage Plug-ins

  1. Open Google Chrome and select the menu icon at the top right of the page.
    From the expanded list select Settings.



  2. Near the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings.



  3. In the Privacy section, click Content settings

  5. Scroll to the Plug-ins section and click on Disable individual plug-ins



  6. You will need to disable the Chrome PDF viewer so that the Adobe PDF Viewer is not blocked.
    From the Plug-Ins list, go down to the Chrome PDF Viewer and click on disable
    Then find the Adobe Reader plugin and click on Enable.



  7. Scroll through the list and disable any extra plug-ins not desired or needed while
    leaving all of the recommended plug-ins enabled.

    Look for plug-ins like Yahoo Toolbar, News Toolbars, etc. to remove.
    When you are done, close the page.

Recommended Plug-ins:  (Java, Adobe Reader, Flash, Quicktime, Silverlight, VLC, and/or Windows Media Player)
